Intimately connected with nature, Nina grew up in rural Switzerland, enabling her imagination to draw endless inspiration from her childhood surroundings. In viewing these works, one can see how mountainous landscapes and natural formations have inspired their tactile textures and intriguing spaces that beg to be touched and explored. Serendipity and spontaneity are driving forces when creating these surreal forms. Entering a meditative state, she engages in a playful interaction with the clay where she enjoys pushing its boundaries whilst also learning it’s limits.
